However, in presenting our findings we have gone to considerable lengths to clearly differentiate within this overall NPS/polydrug use premise. The latent classes generated from the BYDS data also evidenced the difficulty of unpicking the relative importance of a range of risk and protective factors as they relate to substance use at a population level.
